I have been having some stomach issues for 2 weeks now. I woke up with a pain on the left side of my abdomen two Sundays ago, which I first attributed to overdoing it while exercising, but it progressively got worse and worse over the following week, and I had to go and see the doc. I am having a hard time eating due to the pain, and it is bothering me while I practise yoga or exercise.
My pole dancing teacher, Rosa, suggested that I try oregano oil. Not essential oil, but oregano oil. I had never heard of it as a treatment for stomach issues or anything else for that matter, but reading up about I learned that it is very helpful in several conditions and just good for general health. I started taking it two days ago, so far so good, although I am still in pain, it is not as strong as it was a week ago, but it is still a nagging, dull pain.

Oregano oil has a surprisingly strong, pungent taste: although not an essential oil, it feels a lot like taking the essential oil. It must be diluted in a carrier oil and a bit of water to take it orally. I use olive oil or coconut oil. Its many benefits include helping digestion, cleansing the body of toxins and viruses, and relieving aches and pain. I am also giving it to my mum to see if it helps her. The benefits of this oil are quite amazing, the more I read up a bout it:
Antibacterial
Antiviral
Antiparasitic
Antifungal
Anti-allergenic
Anti-inflammatory
Promotes digestion
Helps regulate menstruation and hormonal imbalances
